Bands with C-profile can be easily
produced with the GRS metal shaper: Shape
flat metal strips into a perfect C-profile
after having your pattern engraved. The
receiving die contains a soft metal alloy
which, while transferring the pressure
of the die, will not damage the engraved
pattern. If desired, this alloy can be
reshaped by heating.
The GRS metal shaper is supplied with two
punches of different sizes and an adjustable receiving die. Metal strips
of 6.3 mm to 44.4 mm width can be
shaped. Recommended for soft metals,
such as copper, silver, and gold alloys with
a thickness of approx. 0.7 to 2.0 mm.
