Pocket watches
In the 15th century, the invention of the spring drive made the development of pocket watches possible. Peter Henlein from Nuremberg was one of the first to build the spring drive into a portable watch. His pocket watches are among the oldest surviving examples. These sometimes very elaborately crafted clocks were a status symbol for wealth and prosperity. The pocket watch has retained its niche up to the present day and is still popular today.
Here you will find all current DUGENA models.
