So entsteht ein zur Mitte des Schnittgutes hin keilförmiger Schnitt. Physikalisch gesehen sprengt dieser Keil das zu trennende Material auseinander. Die Drahtenden haben als Schnittergebnis keilförmige Trennflächen. Beim Trennen von Formteilen und Angüssen ist ein bündiges, glattes Abschneiden erwünscht. So entstehen beim Entgraten die wenigsten Nacharbeiten. Ein hier verwendeter Seitenschneider darf zum Werkstück hin keine Facette haben, damit dort eine gerade Trennfläche entsteht. Die Schneiden des Knipex-Seitenschneiders 364148 sind plangeschliffen. Der Anguss wird direkt am Formteil abgeschnitten, weil die Schnittkante parallel zum Werkstück verläuft. Schneiden für das Entgraten an schwer zugänglichen Stellen um 45° abgewinkelt Der Knipex 364148 kommt zum Einsatz, wenn in der Kunststoffproduktion z.B. Plastikformteile nach der Entformung mechanisch vom Anguss getrennt werden müssen. Die plangeschliffenen Schneidflächen sind um 45° abgewinkelt. Das saubere, flächenbündige Trennen von Kunststoffspritzformen und Angüssen bzw. Angussresten ist somit auch an schwer zugänglichen Stellen möglich, etwa an großen und verwinkelten Bauteilen. Mit Öffnungsfeder zur Entlastung des Anwenders – kompakt und stabil Beim Kunststoff-Spritzgießen und anderen Arbeiten in Produktionsprozessen wiederholen sich die Arbeitsschritte vielfach. Wer Angüsse häufig von Formteilen trennt, weiß deshalb die Öffnungsfeder beim Knipex 36148 zu schätzen, denn sie spart immer einen zusätzlichen Handgriff. Mit 160 mm Länge und 156 g Gewicht ist der Knipex-Kunststoff-Seitenschneider kompakt genug auch für den mobilen Einsatz in Produktionsprozessen. Er ist für viele Jahre Einsatz in der Industrie geeignet. Wir schmieden ihn aus Vanadin-Elektrostahl. Durch Erwärmen und anschließendes Abschrecken in Öl erhält er seine hohe Festigkeit.
